The Champions of Tomorrow Cup is a two-day, 7-a-side tournament designed to keep the excitement going during Summer!

The Manly Warringah Football Association (MWFA) has a fantastic opportunity for a NEW role, a Marketing & Communications Executive, to join the organisation to raise our profile, strengthen our connections with players, spectators, sponsors and our community across the  Manly Warringah Football eco system.  This role is a full-time permanent role, based at our offices at Cromer Park.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are offering an opportunity for an exceptional communicator and content writer to join our team to work across marketing, communications, events and sponsorship.  MWFA is the the largest community football association in Australia and Manly United is our representative club who has helped produce Matildas & Socceroos and develops players for a life attached to the world game.

The successful applicant will work closely with the MWFA staff and the 16 MWFA Clubs, Manly United Football Club and their staff and Manly Warringah Licenced Club (The Far Post).

We have an inclusive, energetic, and driven staff and we are looking for a Marketing & Communications Executive to help us take our brand, content, events and sponsorships to the next level.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • A Degree/Diploma – Tertiary qualification or Tafe certificate in marketing or communications
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing, digital or communications role and within those roles sponsorship experience
  • Personal attributes – Excellent written and verbal skills, able to multi-task and a collaborative approach
  • Passion for and Knowledge of Football – Applicants with a passion and knowledge of football will be an advantage
  • Completion of Working with Children Check

The successful applicant should understand a career in football requires some flexible hours throughout various times of the year.

MWFA teams who are participating in this year’s Champion of Champions tournament, plus our Girls U12-1 and Mixed U12-1 League winners, played teams from Northern Suburbs FA on Sunday in the Champions Cup.

With three points awarded for a win and one point for a draw, MWFA has won both the Men’s and Women’s trophies, congratulations to our teams and thanks to NSFA for the games.
