The Manly Warringah Football Association (MWFA) is pleased to announce that as of 2026, it will now manage and administer summer football across multiple locations on the Northern Beaches.
As the largest community football Association in Australia, our goal is to deliver a consistent, year-round football experience that keeps players active, helps them develop their skills, and fosters a strong sense of community. Whether you’re continuing to play with friends or stepping onto the field for the first time, we provide an environment where everyone can enjoy the excitement and thrill of football – building a lifelong passion for the game.
What your fees go towards
MWFA’s summer football programs net proceeds are reinvested back into the Association, our Clubs and their members, directly supporting initiatives such as:
- Coaching and player developments programs
- Grassroots participation initiatives
- Club support and capacity-building initiatives
- Facility upgrades and improvements

The following venues are in partnership with our member clubs:
Lionel Watts – Wakehurst Football Club
Melwood Oval – Forest Killarney Football Club
Georges Heights Oval – Mosman Football Club
Team Nomination Process – NOW OPEN
- Download and complete the 2026 Team Nomination Form
- List a minimum of 7 players (ideally 8–10) on the form
- Submit your form via email to summerfootball@mwfa.com.au
- MWFA will acknowledge receipt by return email and advise of the next steps
