We have some great opportunities for casual work across our Summer Football venues, starting on Monday 14 September 2026.

From adult aged venue supervisors to 13 + aged ball kids, explore our casual roles below.

 

MWFA Summer Football Venue Supervisor – *Currently Full. Vacancies will be advertisised on this page

Responsible for the overall operation of the MWFA Summer Football competition at one of three venues:

·       Cromer Park

·       Forest High School

·       Narrabeen Sports High School

You will ensure matches run smoothly, safely, and on schedule. Duties include supervising field setup and pack-down, coordinating staff and referees, resolving on-site issues, monitoring player and spectator behaviour, and ensuring compliance with competition rules and safety procedures.

The Venue Supervisor acts as the main point of contact for participants, handles match-day administration, and helps create a positive and professional experience for all teams. Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment are essential.

Summer Football Game Day Operations – *Currently Full. Vacancies will be advertisised on this page

Responsible for preparing and setting up playing fields for the MWFA Summer Football competitions.

We are looking for people across the three venues across multiple nights:

·       Cromer Park _ 5 nights

·       Forest High School – 3 nights

·       Narrabeen Sports High School – 4 nights

Duties include marking pitches, positioning goals and corner flags, ground marshalling, ensuring all equipment is in place, checking field safety standards, and preparing the venue before matches begin.

The role also involves maintaining a clean and organised playing area, assisting with any field adjustments during the competition, and helping with pack-down at the end of each match day. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors are essential.

MWFA Summer Football Ball Kid – *Currently Full. Vacancies will be advertisised on this page

Responsible for assisting match officials and players by retrieving and returning balls quickly during our Summer Football matches to help games run smoothly and minimise delays.

We are looking for people across the three venues across multiple nights:

  • Cromer Park _ 5 nights
  • Forest High School – 3 nights
  • Narrabeen Sports High School – 4 nights

Duties include monitoring play, providing replacement balls when required, keeping spare balls organised, and supporting the venue team with basic match-day tasks. Ball Kids are expected to be attentive, reliable, enthusiastic, and maintain a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with players, officials, and spectators.
