MWFA Coach Development Manager

 

Eugene joins MWFA after an impressive career in coach education that has seen him present over 250 coach education courses and workshops for Football Federation Australia (FFA) and Football Federation Victoria (FFV), as well as grassroots clubs throughout NSW, Victoria and ACT.

Eugene is an FFA ‘A’ Licence holder, and has been coaching at all different levels of the game for over a decade, including NTC/State teams, NPL and community clubs, and various academy programs.

From 2012 to 2014 Eugene was the Head Coach of the FFV State Futsal program, First Team coach at Wesley College in Melbourne from 2016 to 2018, and he has also been Technical Director at several large clubs.

Gregor AgicJames MitchellMarilinda Winter
Gregor joins MWFA coming from an education and fitness background and has a love for nutrition and exercise. He has been involved with many aspects of football, including playing for nearly 25 years. Gregor has a C-Diploma was a participant in MWFA’s Future Coaches Program. He has a passion for coaching, and his goals are to be a mentor and to assist with the development of current and future football coaches and players.James has had a passion for coaching since first starting out as an U6 coach in 2006. He has James completed the C-Diploma and was a participant in MWFA’s Future Coaches Program. He has been both a CCC and Coaching Director at Avalon, and his main goal is to educate coaches to provide fun and engaging coaching sessions to ensure that young boys and girls have fun, develop their skills, and most importantly have them come back the following year, and if possible enjoy a lifelong involvement with football.Starting as a parent volunteer 12 Years ago, Mim has since completed her C-Diploma and was a participant in MWFA’s Future Coaches Program. She has coached junior boys and now coaches junior girls and WPL. Mim has embraced the role of being a CCC at Manly Vale and has a passion to find ways to keep junior girls engaged with playing football for the long term and in particular, creating coaching development and training opportunities for teenagers.
Gareth BanksCatriona OrmondPatricia Faria
Gareth has been involved in coaching for the past 20 years. He has coached throughout the youth age groups and at senior football across community, SAP and NPL Youth League levels, including at Manly United. He was also previously the coaching director at Curl Curl FC. Gareth holds an FA B-Diploma and enjoys helping coaches improve their skills and communication to be the best coaches they can be.Catriona has played in MWFA since 2008. She has worked in the Manly United Development program in the mixed and women's, and currently coaches a couple of teams at Seaforth. She was a participant in MWFA’s Future Coaches Program, along with having completed her C-Diploma. Catriona is passionate about giving all females the opportunity to receive excellent football coaching.Patty has coached both of her children's teams at Brookvale for the last 4 years. She completed her C-Diploma in 2022, and has also been the Coaching Director at Brookvale for 2 seasons, after previously being a WPL player. Patty enjoys having a role in shaping the development of youth players so that we can produce more world class players in the future, as well as helping coaches to do the same and keep more players in the game by giving them positive experiences.
