Summer football teams are friend based. The MWFA do not put teams together – we rely on you to organise a team through friends, family or winter teammates.

When you have formed a team:

Once the MWFA has confirmed your team, all players and managers must complete the registration process.

Players: Select a registration link based on your venue and age group. Team Managers must only use the managers link. If you are managing multiple teams, you must complete a separate Team Manager registration for each team. For example, if you manage two teams, you will need to submit two separate Team Manager registrations.

Some helpful tips when registering:

  • Registration for Summer Football is through Play Football – this is the same platform you use to register for the Winter competition.
  • Follow the prompts when registering and be sure to answer all the questions provided.
  • Each player in your team needs to complete the registration process.
  • Managers: There is only one link to register – please use this one and NOT a venue/age group link. Additionally, if you are managing multiple teams, you must complete a separate Team Manager registration for each team. For example, if you manage two teams, you will need to submit two separate Team Manager registrations.

 

2026 Player Registration Fees

Junior U6 to U10

Early-bird: $210

After 16 August: $230

Junior U11 to U18

Early-bird: $220

After 16 August: $240

Seniors (All Age and O35’s)

Early-bird: $235

After 16 August: $255

 

Fees include:

  • Team-coloured jersey for each player
  • Goalkeeper bib
  • Referees for all games
  • Match balls
