FOLLOWING two open trials last month, the Manly Warringah Football Association (MWFA) has picked a strongsquad ahead of the annual under-18s friendly versus Manly United.
The match will be played at Cromer Park on Monday, June 26 and has been a quality contest in recent years.
Chris Adams, the MWFA’s Community Coach Development Manager, is confident the kids from club land will hold their own against their representative opponents.
“It is a well balanced team with a few lads already playing senior football in the MWFA Premier League and AL/1s competitions,” he said.
“Paul Daly (from Seaforth) is the head coach with Bill Kier (from Forest Killarney) his assistant.
“The lads will have four sessions before the game, they will be prepared come game day.”
Manly United are sitting in third spot in the 18s after 12 rounds.
