Womens Premier League | Round 15 Review

Brookie 664

BROOKVALE are still in the hunt for the minor premiership after beating an injury ravaged Seaforth 5-2 on Sunday.

The Blues had five different goal scorers, with usual suspects Gill Foster and Jemma Satchell among them.

Brookie coach Colin Euers felt the end result flattered his team.

“It was 2-2 at halftime and we left it late to seal the result,” he said.

“We will take it though, we need to keep the pressure on (leaders) Beacon Hill.

“We also have a game in hand, so we can definitely make it interesting.”

Other games saw Beacon Hill outclass Manly Vale B 5-2 and Manly Vale A beat Avalon 2-0.

Wakehurst had the bye.
