MWFA Women’s World Cup Draw

On Tuesday night, we conducted the draw for the MWFA Women’s World Cup. Thanks to everyone who joined us at The Far Post for what is an exciting time in women’s football, both locally and nationally. See below to find out which teams are representing which countries in the tournament.

Click the below link to see dates and times for all MWFA Women’s World Cup fixtures. The tournament commences on Wednesday 19th July, while the final for both the Under-8 and Under-11 age groups will be held on Friday 11th August. All games will be played at Cromer Park.

We would also like to remind clubs that we have two upcoming courses aimed at young women who want to get involved in coaching. These courses have been specifically prepared for this tournament, so it would be fantastic to have a good turnout. See below for details.

 

MiniRoos Coaching Course: Thursday June 29
6:30pm to 8:30pm @ Cromer Park

This course is a great introduction to coaching, covering how to keep players engaged while picking up new skills through playing 30+ drills, along with many coaching tips in a fully practical environment.

Match Coaching Workshop: Monday July 17
6:30pm to 8:30pm @ Cromer Park

This workshop will be great preparation for the tournament, covering pre-game preparation including team talks and warming up, coaching effectively during the game and at half time, and managing game time.
