PanKind’s national pancreatic cancer awareness campaign #PlayinPurple is now live, and the online shop is open!
Manly Warringah Football Association is proud to once again be supporting #PlayinPurple to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer. Our #PlayinPurple weekend will be July 29-30 and we encourage all our clubs to get behind the campaign by playing their games for this round in purple socks.
MWFA CEO David Mason says, ‘We are committed to helping raise the profile of pancreatic cancer through grassroots community football. It is wonderful to see our clubs, players and community uniting behind this important cause and shining a light on one of Australia’s toughest cancers’.
PanKind has produced a Participation Pack which has everything your club needs to run a fun and rewarding #PlayinPurple weekend. Click here for a link to the #PlayInPurple Participation Pack.
The online shop, where you can purchase Pankind Foundation purple socks, is open NOW! Click here to place your order. The closing date for sock orders is 30 June, however we recommend that you place your order as soon as possible. We recognise that many players will already have PanKind Foundation purple socks from previous years. We encourage you to wear these socks again in 2023 and consider donating to PanKind by clicking here.
If you have any questions about organising your club’s #PlayinPurple campaign, please reach out to the team at PanKind via email: playinpurple@pankind.org.au .
