MWFA Women’s Premier League Round 2 is set for Sunday afternoon and the teams will be fresh after taking a break over the Easter long weekend.

Sunday’s weather forecast is looking promising and we should see perfect conditions for football, so Women’s Premier League Round 2 is a great chance to visit our local grounds and support your team!

We’ve got a rematch of a Women’s Challenge Cup Round 1 game at Seaforth Oval, with Brookvale looking to make amends after a Cup defeat at the hands of Seaforth. Meanwhile, Beacon Hill play their first home game of the season against a Manly Vale side looking for two wins in a row.

At Millers Reserve, Manly Allambie and Curl Curl will both be looking to earn their first Premier League victories for 2023, while at Lionel Watts Oval two Round 1 winners in Pittwater RSL and Wakehurst will do battle.

We would also like to wish Pittwater RSL and Wakehurst the best of luck for next week’s Sapphire Cup games. Pittwater play Albion Park White Eagles on Wednesday at Cromer Park (7:30pm kickoff), and Wakehurst travel to Cirillo Reserve for a clash with Austral (7:45pm kickoff).
