MWFA is thrilled to announce that the MWFA Select games will be return in February 2023.
The MWFA Select games see a men’s and women’s select team battle against Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) in an annual battle for bragging rights.
The men’s MFWA select team also compete against the Manly United Football Club’s first grade team, a match which the MWFA team were victorious in this year for the first time in history.
The teams are coached by the 2022 Premier League and Women’s Premier League Coach of the Year.
In 2023 Adam Israel and Chris Wood will select the best players from their respective premier league competitions, with each premier league club to be represented, to don the MWFA Select jersey.
The men’s team will be looking to continue their winning streak against NSFA in next year’s match, whilst the women will be looking for revenge after a close defeat in the 2022 competition.
These are games not to be missed and will officially kick start the 2023 football season.
