Manly Warringah Football Association and Manly United have partnered with PhysXrehab, a physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic based at the Cromer Park clubhouse, to host a series of Player Welfare Talks with the first talk being held on Monday 6th June, 7pm at The Far Post Cromer on the topic of Concussion.
Hosted by guest speakers and PhysXrehab’s Principal Physiotherapist & Head of Medical Sports Science (MUFC), Steve Felsher, there will be a total of four talks covering the topics of concussion in sport, sports nutrition in football, mental health in youth athletes, and injury prevention in football.
As the football season continues the MWFA, Manly United and PhysXrehab feels it is important for our footballing community to have access to educational information surrounding current issues in sport.
These free Player Welfare Talks presented by experts in their fields aim to help coaches, players, managers, and parents gain a greater understanding of these topics and improve player welfare.
