Challenge Cup is back for another year!
Challenge Cup is the annual competition where the MWFA premier league and AL1 teams match up in a knock out competition and will kick off with the women’s on Sunday 20 March at Cromer Park from 10am.
Manly Allambie’s women’s premier league will be looking to retain the Cup after last years 4-0 win over BTH in the final. Whilst the men are taking on unfinished business as last years Challenge Cup was interrupted by COVID.
28 teams across our men’s and women’s will face off against one another in the knockout structure until only one team is left holding the trophy.
The match ups see the AL1 teams test themselves against our premier league sides whilst the premier league teams compete to be the best of the best.
Played throughout the whole season Challenge Cup takes place on a mixture of days and nights with the women starting on a Sunday before the season whilst the men book out a handful of Tuesday nights.
