MWFA women's Premier League round 14 preview

MVWPLvsForest7April2019-4039

AFTER 13 rounds, it all comes down to this Sunday.

League leaders Beacon Hill travel to David Thomas Reserve to take on Manly Vale, knowing a win would secure the title.

Wakehurst, who take on Seaforth on the road, can also mathematically win the title, as can fourth placed Manly Allambie who tackle Brookvale at Graham Reserve.

“We are looking forward to the challenge this weekend,” Beacon Hill assistant coach Mark Cimarosti said.

“It should be a ripper and a great advertisement for the competition.”

Manly Vale co-coach Roland Winter is equally excited with so much on the line.

“Beacon Hill will be tough as always,” he said.

“It may come down to mental toughness in the end. We will play our game and I’m sure it will be a competitive match.”

The other game on Sunday sees Mosman host Forest Killarney at Allan Border Oval.
