USUALLY at this time of year, Pittwater RSL FC have won the title or are looking to secure a spot in the top four.

So to narrowly avoid relegation has been a humbling experience for the Greens.

“It isn’t what we expected, it has definitely been character building,” veteran sweeper Peter Stegic said.

“Some games we have been decent, other games we have been poor and deserved to lose.

“Seaforth will be tough this weekend, they are leading the competition for a reason.

“They would be a good scalp (to beat), I guess we will see what happens.”

Mitch Macedo is also tipped to return for Pitts ahead of the game at Kitchener.

Elsewhere, Narrabeen host Curl Curl, CC Strikers entertain Brookvale, Mosman face Dee Why and St Augustine’s tackle Wakehurst in the later game at Cromer Park from 6pm.
