SEAFORTH remain top of the MWFA Premier League following a pulsating 2-2 draw with a fired up Brookvale at Graham Reserve on Saturday.

The hosts viewed the end result as a missed opportunity, especially after recovering from a 1-0 deficit at halftime.

“We can’t lament on the result, so we move on,” experienced Blues defender Adam Demasi said.

“CC Strikers (next game) are our focus, they are a quality side who are pushing for the top four.

“We will continue to fight to the end and look to build momentum ahead of the finals series.”

Skipper Johnny Hall and Johan Ekerland found the back of the net for Brookie, with Daniel Deblaere Seaforth’s standout player before he succumbed to injury.

Elsewhere, Wakehurst drew 4-4 with Narrabeen on the new synthetic surface at Lionel Watts to stay in third spot, Curl Curl and St Augustine’s finished all square at 1-1, Pittwater RSL FC edged out Mosman 2-1 and CC Strikers beat Dee Why 1-0 to move up to fifth spot on the ladder.
