MWFA men's Premier League round 15 preview

THE opportunity to replace Brookvale as outright competition leaders with the semi-finals looming has Wakehurst primed to beat the Blues this weekend at Cromer Park.

Paul Juergens’ Tigers are ‘humming’ according to their coach – and certainly don’t fear Brookie.

“Everyone is looking forward to Saturday, we have the belief we can get a result,” he said.

“Brookie are the benchmark, no doubt about it, but we are hitting our straps at the right time.

“I’m sure they will be fired up, losing (3-0) to Saints last round wasn’t part of the script for them.

“We beat them at Cromer Park in the semis last year and drew (1-1) at their place at the start of the year, so we know we can get the right result.”

Elsewhere, CC Strikers entertain Curl Curl, Pittwater RSL FC host Dee Why, Narrabeen do battle with Mosman and St Augustine’s line up against Seaforth in the later game from 6pm.
