GOALS from Sam Spackman, Ceri Greco and Jules Waugh saw Manly Vale outclass Manly Allambie 3-1 at Melwood Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Kyle Cannon’s ladies took a shock early lead, but the Roland Winter and Tony Bruzzano co-coached girls in maroon kept their composure to ensure bragging rights over their neighbours.

The result also sees Vale remain competition leaders after nine rounds.

“It was a hard fought win, the girls did well,” Winter said.

“We also showed a huge amount of resolve not to panic – in the end we were fairly convincing.”

Elsewhere, Wakehurst blitzed Brookvale 5-2, Beacon Hill stay in second spot on the ladder after a 3-1 triumph over Forest Killarney and Mosman and Seaforth shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
