CC Strikers are now just one point out of the top four following their 3-1 win over Narrabeen at St Matthews Farm on Saturday.
Sam Webber, Stefano Foti and Kory Leung were on target for Ryan Butcher’s men, who are flying after winning three games on the trot.
“We have made some minor changes the past few weeks and also started to get a few players back which has helped us with our depth,” Butcher said.
“I’m pleased with how the guys have responded after being under a fair bit of pressure.
“It was a good performance against Narrabeen, we took care of their threats and were on top for long periods of the game.
“We have managed to get ourselves back in the mix (for the top four), which is great.”
Elsewhere, Wakehurst beat Pittwater RSL FC 2-1, Brookvale outclassed Dee Why 7-1, Seaforth got the better of Curl Curl 1-0 and Mosman versus St Augustine’s finished 3-3.
