GOALS from Tomas Pospisil and Pavel Rados saw Narrabeen shock Pittwater RSL FC 2-1 on Saturday night at Cromer Park.
The win from Ross Talarico’s men was even more impressive given Nenad Jeleca was sent off for striking in the first half.
“It was a massive result for us, we battled for most of the game with 10 men,” Narrabeen striker Sipan Berti said.
“We scored two goals early then basically had to hold on, we showed real team spirit.
“Beating a quality team like Pittwater is always a big three points.”
Remarkably Pitts, who won the MWFA Premier League title last season, now find themselves bottom of the league after eight rounds.
Elsewhere, Seaforth beat Wakehurst 2-0, Brookvale outclassed Curl Curl 4-0, CC Strikers upset Mosman 2-1 and St Augustine’s got the better of Dee Why by the same score.
