Manly United Football Club is holding its annual “Back to Manly Day” on Sunday 26 May when Manly United takes on competition leaders Wollongong Wolves at Cromer Park.
Back To Manly Day is a celebration of past players and officials who have represented Manly United, Manly Warringah either at Junior or State League level and helped pave the way for the current juniors and seniors who represent the Northern Beaches from U9s through to the senior teams – men and women.
It is open to all past and present Manly United players, coaches and officials with the 2019 function to focus on the fathers and mothers of current players who are watching their son’s, daughters and grandchildren follow in their footsteps at Manly United.
Manly United Football Club has a large number of former players who are now proud parents and grandparents of current players and we will acknowledge those families as part of the day.
The “Back to Manly” function begins in the Clubhouse at 12.30pm ahead of the First Grade game at 3pm with more information on the attached flyer.
It will be followed by a photo with former players and their children on the pitch ahead of the first grade side.
All former players and officials are welcome to attend a special function before the match and then watch the first grade side take on the Competition leaders.
The function is also open to current players and parents who want to enjoy a good Sunday afternoon at the football.
We would encourage all present Manly United players and their families to attend the day and come down to Cromer Park for what is one of the highlights of the season.
Any former player or official wanting to join in on the Back to Manly Day celebrations should contact the Manly United office on 9982 6228 or email reception@mwfa.com.au
