MANLY Allambie coach Kyle Cannon insists his team can re-discover that winning feeling when they take on Beacon Hill this Sunday.
With no games over the Easter break, the girls from Millers Reserve have been forced to stew over their below par derby performance against Manly Vale on April 14.
“It would have been great to move on as quick as possible in terms of the next game, but it certainly isn’t panic stations for us,” Cannon said.
“We have worked hard at training to rectify a few areas of our game and I feel we are ready to show what we are capable of.
“Credit to Beacon Hill, they have started well, but our focus isn’t them.. it is putting the ball in the back of the net.”
Naomi Peterson is one player Manly Allambie will have to contain, after she scored a hat-trick last round versus Forest Killarney.
“Someone needed to step up for Beacon after Jess (Wootton) left, and it looks like Naomi is that player,” Cannon added.
“Any team Vince (Vescio) coaches will be well organised and attack minded, we welcome the challenge.”
Elsewhere this round, Mosman host Brookvale, Forest Killarney entertain Wakehurst and Manly Vale tackle Seaforth.
All games kick-off at 3pm.
