MANLY Vale are bracing themselves for a torrid 90 minutes when they tackle Manly Allambie in Sunday’s derby at Millers Reserve.
The neighbouring squads have developed an intense rivalry the past couple of campaigns, and with bragging rights on the line, neither team will give an inch.
“We played them (Manly Allambie) in the Cup a few weeks ago, they are a quality side, very hard to break down,” Manly Vale co-coach Roland Winter said.
“We are both coming off wins (in the league)first up, so confidence will be high.
“Our girls are ready for the challenge.”
Other games this round see Wakehurst take on Brookvale at Melwood Oval, Seaforth entertain Mosman on home soil and Beacon Hill host Forest Killarney.
