AFTER finally managing to stop drawing games they should have won, Manly Vale appear to be semi-final bound in the women’s MWFA Premier League.
Co-coached by Roland Winter and Tony Bruzzano, the ladies in maroon and white take on Wakehurst this Sunday in what looms as an enticing encounter at Cromer Park.
Vale beat neighboursManly Allambie 1-0 midweek, and are looking the goods to finish fourth.
“Now we have won as many games (seven) as we have drawn,” Winter said.
“We just have to take each match as it comes, picking up three points consistently will help our cause.
“The girls have beaten Wakehurst twice this season, so we have every reason to feel confident.”
Elsewhere, Avalon host Forest Killarney and Brookvale entertain Beacon Hill.
Colin Euers’ Bluesare making a late charge for the top four, and impressed in their midweek 3-0 triumph against Vince Vescio’s Beacon Hill.
Manly Allambie and Seaforth have the bye.
