SEAFORTH coach Ash Mathieson isn’t overly concerned by his team’s recent form slump.
After opening their season with an impressive 8-0 win over Forest Killarney, the ladies in white and black have dropped off in recent weeks, sitting in sixth spot on the ladder.
“Injuries have played their part, but we still have the players to be competitive,” Mathieson said.
“It is a very tight competition, we just have to keep faith and work hard.
“Put it this way, we are due.”
On Sunday, Seaforth travel to Beacon Hill Oval in what poses as another test of character.
Vince Vescio’s squad have lost their last two matches, and will be fired up to avoid a third.
“The pressure is on us, but they (Beacon Hill)will be feeling a little nervous,” Mathieson said.
“We will reshuffle a few things and I’m confident we can get a result.”
Elsewhere on Sunday, Manly Vale host Brookvale at David Thomas Reserve.
On Monday night, Forest Killarney play Manly Allambie and Wakehurst tackle Avalon.
Hannah Bromley’s Forest Killarney and Larry Bates’ Reds will be backing up from Sunday’s State Cup.
