ROSS Talarico is salivating ahead of Pittwater RSL FC making the short journey to Narrabeen Sports High this weekend.
The likeable Narrabeen coach has rebuilt his squad in the off-season, and knows the greens will offer a realistic test of where his team are at.
“They (Pittwater) are the yardstick for a reason,” he said.
“Every year they just go about their business and obviously they are the defending premiers.
“I’ve blooded plenty of young kids this year, they are great to coach – they listen and always look for ways to improve.
“We are also coming off a 3-0 win in the FA Cup (versus Beacon Hill) on Monday night, so spirits are high.”
At Cromer Park on Friday night at 7pm, CC Strikers take on St Augustine’s.
Saturday from 3pm sees Brookvale host Seaforth, Manly Vale do battle with Dee Why and Mosman lock horns with Wakehurst.
