FOREST Killarney’s quest to finish in the top four faces a stern test when they play league leaders Manly Vale at David Thomas Reserve on Sunday.
Glenn Wood’s ladies from Melwood Oval are locked in an intense battle with Avalon, who moved into fourth after beating Harbord Seasiders United 5-2 in a midweek catch up game at Millers Reserve.
With three games before the semis, Forest need three points on the road.
“We don’t fear them (Manly Vale), we drew with them (0-0) earlier in the season,” Wood said.
“There is lots to play for with games against Brookvale and Avalon to follow.
“Our away form has been fairly good, hopefully we can jag a big result.”
Other games see Wakehurst host HSU, Brookvale entertain Seaforth and Avalon take on Beacon Hill.
