DEE Why striker Matt Cooper insists the title race in the MWFA Premier League isn’t over despite his team dropping points in a 1-1 draw with Mosman.
The Whales deserved a point at Allan Border Oval in what was a dour clash at times.
“Credit to Mosman, they were hungrier than us,” Cooper said.
“They worked hard and got a goal late.
“I still think (league leaders) Pittwater can be reeled in, but we will need some luck.”
Adam Gibson was on target for Dee Why.
Pitts are now ten points clear after thrashing St Augustine’s 5-1 at Graham Reserve.
Other games saw Narrabeen and Brookvale finish 2-2, Seaforth are third after a 1-0 win versus Manly Vale and CC Strikers stunned Wakehurst by the same score.
