FOREST Killarney coach Glenn Wood says Wednesday night’s game versus ladder leaders Manly Vale can’t come quick enough after Sunday’s 4-0 loss against Wakehurst.
The Tigers won bragging rights in the derby, in a 90 minute performance the ladies from Melwood Oval are keen to erase from their minds.
“It was a disappointing result, but credit to Wakehurst, they took their chances,” Wood said.
“We will bounce back – (Manly) Vale offer another tough assignment.”
Elsewhere on Sunday, Manly Vale beat Beacon Hill 2-1, Seaforth stunned Avalon by the same score and Brookvale outclassed HSU 7-1.
Wednesday night sees Wakehurst entertain HSU (Ararat Oval), Seaforth do battle with Brookvale (Seaforth Oval) and Beacon Hill take on Larry Bates’ Reds (Beacon Hill Oval).
