ARE the champions of the 2016 MWFA Premier League back in business?
It is the question rival clubs are beginning to ask following Narrabeen’s recent run of form.
The Beenies thumped St Augustine’s 7-2 on Saturday, backing up their 4-0 victory over Manly Vale a week earlier.
Striker Adam Foti was again on the score sheet, scoring a double.
He scored all four against Bob Catlin’s struggling Vale.
“The wheels are in motion,” Narrabeen skipper Mark Femia said.
“We still have players to come back, so the signs are promising.
“At this stage we just have to take it week by week, keep getting three points and see where we end up.”
Other games saw Pittwater RSL FC score late to beat Wakehurst 1-0, Brookvale outclassed Manly Vale 7-0, CC Strikers dusted Mosman 3-1 and Dee Why won 2-1 on the road versus Seaforth.
