BEACON Hill coach Vince Vescio insists his team can scale new heights ahead of Sunday’s game with Harbord Seasiders United at Nolan Reserve.
Last weekend Beacon impressed in a 3-0 win against Brookvale after a couple of below par performances.
“It is still early days, you don’t want to be playing your best football in May,” Vescio said.
“I haven’t seen Harbord play, but I’ve heard good things from other coaches.
“We won’t take them lightly, we respect them.”
Other games see Wakehurst host Seaforth and Brookvale take on Forest Killarney.
Avalon’s clash with Manly Vale is postponed with the Reds playing in the State Cup versus Camden Tigers at Cromer Park on Sunday from 12.15pm.
Next Wednesday night sees Wakehurst v Avalon (Ararat Reserve), Forest Killarney v HSU (Melwood) and Seaforth v Beacon Hill (Seaforth Oval).
