GOALS from Russ Bream and James Woldring guided Wakehurst into the MWFA FA Cup final on Monday night at Cromer Park.
The Tigers beat Seaforth 2-1 in a quality encounter, just two days after also beating Mark Gale’s squad in the league last Saturday.
“I thought our guys were great, they backed up well,” Wakehurst coach Paul Juergens said.
“Seaforth are a good side, I can see why they have had a fair bit of success early in the year.
“They tested us late, but thankfully we were good enough to hold on.”
Wakehurst play the winner of Mosman versus Curl Curl in the final on Wednesday, June 7 at Cromer Park.
The Whales enter Monday’s second semi-final as slight favourites over the AL/1s giant killers from Abbott Rd.
