BROOKVALE defender Adam Demasi is football’s version of John Farnham, such are his repeated comebacks.
After convincing his wife Tina to let him “play a few games”, the defender found the back of the net in last weekend’s 2-1 defeat against Dee Why.
“It was nice to get a goal, but it wasn’t the result we wanted,” Demasi said.
“We need to be ruthless in front of goal, we are creating enough chances.”
Under new coach Simon Euers, the Blues will only get better.
A first up 3-2 win against St Augustine’s was followed by a 0-0 stalemate with Narrabeen before the Swans lowered Brookie’s colours.
This Saturday Mosman await at Graham’s, and Demasi wasn’t sure if he will lace his boots.
“I’m available,” he said with a wry smile.
“Mosman will be desperate, it should be a good test.”
