Womens Premier League | Round 19 Preview

MV 664

WAKEHURST coach Donna Stuart has conceded her team won’t be playing semi-final football in 2016.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s game against Manly Vale A at Lionel Watts, the Tigers boss pointed to a few reasons as to why her team will finish outside the top four.

“Too many injuries, players not available some weeks and no out and out goal scorer,” she said.

“It makes things very difficult.

“We are still playing well, and I have no doubt the girls will put in (effort wise) every game we play.

“In terms of Sunday, we aren’t fussed about the result, more the performance.”

Other games see Beacon Hill take on Avalon and Manly Vale B will have their work cut out containing Brookvale.

Seaforth have the bye.
