MANLY Vale B will have to dig deep in this Sunday’s game with Beacon Hill at Melwood Oval.
Not only will they be backing up from Wednesday night’s 2-1 defeat against Avalon at Careel Bay, this weekend they will only have 16 players available for both grades.
“We have injuries and people overseas, not much I can do about it,” Manly Vale B coach Roland Winter said.
“I think we can get a result, Beacon Hill had to score two goals late to beat us earlier in the year.
“All we can do is turn up and do our best.”
Wednesday night’s other catch up game between Wakehurst and Seaforth finished 0-0.
Sunday sees Manly Vale A host Avalon and Brookvale take on Seaforth.
Wakehurst have the bye.
