THE Manly Warringah Football Association have named a 18s boys select squad to play Manly United’s 18s later this month in a friendly at Cromer Park.
It follows two previous games this year between Manly United against combined MWFA Premier League men and women’s squads.
Manly United FCs Under 18s coach, Frank Giggliotti, is looking forward to seeing the local talent on display.
“It is a great opportunity for the local players to step up and show that Manly United FC is a true pathway for the MWFA players.” Frank said.
“It is also a real chance for them and myself to get a real picture as to where the talent is within the MWFA.”
Long serving MWFA identity David Wilson devised the concept, which is growing in popularity each year.
It has been great to see the local coaches embracing the concept by encouraging their players to be a part of the fixture. Wilson said.
2016 Champion of Champions winning coach Maurice Springfield from the Wakehurst Football Club, will direct the side around the park.

The game will be played on Tuesday the 21st of June at Cromer Park.
