Manly United FC is proud to congratulate Keith Pester on receiving the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours for his significant service to football administration.
Keith’s contribution to Northern Beaches football spans decades. He served as MWFA Vice President from 1998 to 2020 and has also supported the game through
representative football, publicity and judiciary roles. At Wakehurst FC, he spent nine years as President, six seasons as a coach and time as a referee.

mber of MWFA, Wakehurst FC and Manly United FC, Keith has also received MWFA’s Meritorious Award and Football NSW’s Charles Valentine Award.
His commitment to community life extends beyond the pitch as the President of the North Shore Beekeepers Association.
Keith has helped shape the football community so many of us enjoy today, and we are delighted to see his years of service recognised with this honour.
