Pittwater RSL FC’s U13 Girls have made it to the Football NSW Champion of Champions 2026 Grand Final!!
What a moment for Pittwater RSL FC‘s U13 Girls! After a brilliant Football NSW Champion of Champions campaign, the team is heading to Sunday’s Grand Final.
The team has shared the story of years of football, friendhsip and hard work behind this achievement and it’s one worth reading:
“Three years ago, this group of girls set themselves an ultimate goal: to compete for a FNSW Champion of Champions title. This weekend, that dream becomes a reality as they have earned their place in the Grand Final – a journey built on talent, dedication, determination and an unwavering belief in each other.
For many of these girls, Pittwater has been home since U6s. They’ve grown up together, developed together and, over the past three seasons, built something truly special.
Under the guidance of coach Heath Sinclair, this team has become a force to be reckoned with.
Their Champion of Champions journey has been nothing short of incredible:
- 2–0 win over Maroubra United to get the campaign underway.
- A dominant 7–0 victory over Hills Hawks, showcasing the quality and attacking football this team is capable of.
- A thrilling 4–2 semi-final win over Figtree FC, showing their composure, character and determination when it mattered most – booking their place in the Grand Final!
Every opponent along the way has brought quality football, fierce competition and fantastic sportsmanship. The girls have been challenged, tested and pushed, and have risen to every occasion.”
