This week marks the conclusion of the 2026 Junior Mixed Winter Competition, and we’re delighted to celebrate our league champions after another fantastic winter season.
And what a season it’s been! Thanks to kinder weather and increased field availability, teams enjoyed more football than ever before, making this one of our biggest and most successful seasons in recent years. From the first whistle in April to the final fixtures last weekend, it’s been a season full of memorable moments and fantastic football.
Congratulations to every team that has earned a Junior Mixed League Champion title this year. Your hard work, commitment and teamwork have paid off, and you should all be incredibly proud of your achievements.
A special mention to the teams who not only won their league but remained undefeated throughout their 2026 campaign – including Manly Vale 18/4 who won all of their fixtures – and to the three teams who achieved success in the State Cup as well as our winter comp: Collaroy Cromer Strikers FC U13/1 A, Dee Why FC U16/1 and Saint Augustine’s FC U18/1.
Of course, there’s still plenty of football to come! Along with the teams who placed second, third or fourth in their age group and division, our League Champions now turn their attention to the finals series, with semi-finals this Saturday followed by grand finals on 22 August. The Association wishes all players and teams taking part in this next exciting challenge the very best of luck.
Meanwhile, our Junior Girls League and senior men’s and women’s competitions all wrap up next week before their own finals campaigns begin. We can’t wait to see how the remaining premiership races unfold.
