The pick of the players from the MWFA Men’s Premier League will take on Manly United first grade side in the annual MWFA Select Game at Cromer Park on Wednesday night. The match kicks off at 7.30pm.
The annual match is an important part of the relationship between the MWFA and Manly United and has seen some fantastic contests over the years.
Last season the MWFA Select team triumphed in a penalty shoot out, securing the second ever victory over their NPL opponents.
Manly United went on to finish second in the NPL Premiership and lost the Grand Final in what was a stellar season for the boys in blue.
The MWFA team, coached by former Pittwater coach Adam Israel, warmed up for the game by defeating the Northern Suburbs (NSFA) Select team on penalties two weeks ago while Manly United goes into the clash after defeating Sydney FC 2-1 on Saturday night.
