Men’s Premier League
Brookvale vs BTH – 3pm – Grahams Reserve Field 1
With only two games remaining for the season this weekend’s match between Brookvale and BTH is a must win for both sides.
The home side are currently sitting second last on the table and need to secure the three points this weekend to try and climb their way out of a play-off match. Only one point behind St Augustine’s and two points behind Beacon Hill and Harbord, a win this weekend could book Brookvale’s 2023 premier league spot.
BTH on the other hand are only four points away from a finals series as they sit in fifth position. Wakehurst currently hold fourth place and with Wakehurst facing second place CC Strikers this Saturday could be a chance for BTH to close the gap.
What really makes this week’s match of the round interesting is next week’s match ups.
A win from Brookvale could potentially see them leapfrog Beacon Hill and Harbord. This will be important for the Brookvale side as they will finish off the competition with a match against Beacon Hill next weekend.
BTH will face Wakehurst next weekend and so a victory against Brookvale is a must to keep their finals dreams alive.

Manly Vale vs Wakehurst – David Thomas Field 2 – 3pm
Manly Vale has managed to snag Match of the Round again this week as they take on fourth place Wakehurst to battle it out this Sunday at David Thomas.
The visitors, Wakehurst, are only two points ahead of fifth place and so three points against Manly Vale will keep them in the running for a semi finals position.
Manly Vale are sitting a little more comfortably in third with five points between themselves and Wakehurst however they won’t want to let their guard down as they approach the end of the season.
Last time the two teams met Manly Vale walked away with the three points following a 5-2 victory and so Wakehurst will be looking to even the score this Sunday.
