IF form is any guide, Seaforth should comfortably win Saturday’s MWFA Premier League decider over Curl Curl to cap off a brilliant 2019.
But co-coach Jordan Lefebvre was having none of that.
“Curly have done very well since getting promoted, a Cup final and now a grand final, it is testament to the ability they have,” said Lefebvre, who has worked well with co-coach Matt Gale in 2019.
“They have a great mix of youth and experience, with Paul Nero and Ross Cummings guiding technically sound players like John Stambolieff and Alex Hatsi.
“Then you have Tyson Masters, everyone knows what he can do in front of goal.
“We are expecting a big challenge this weekend.”
Curl Curl coach Anthony Seminara said his squad will be rank outsiders.
“Seaforth have to be the clear favourite, they almost won the title, dominated us in the Cup final and also beat us twice in the league,” he said.
“They are disciplined and outstanding from set pieces.
“Daniel Deblaere is the player we have to keep quiet, everything goes through him.”
Kick-off is 5pm at Cromer Park.
