CURL Curl secured their spot in the top four following a remarkable 6-5 win over Narrabeen on Saturday afternoon.
Tyson Masters grabbed four goals for Anthony Seminara’s men, with Sipan Berti scoring three for the hosts in one of the more entertaining games seen in recent years.
“It was a crazy 90 minutes,” Seminara said when reflecting on the contest at Narrabeen Sports High.
“At 4-2 down we had to chase the game, so I changed our system and in the end it paid off.
“I wasn’t happy with our defending, but at the start of the year if you offered me a spot in the top four as well as a Cup final I would have taken it.”
Elsewhere, Brookvale went top after smashing CC Strikers 5-1, Wakehurst outclassed St Augustine’s 3-1, Mosman beat Dee Why by the same score and Pittwater RSL FC and Seaforth played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.
