CURL Curl will look to improve on their best team performance of 2019 when they tackle Wakehurst this Saturday night in the match of the round at Cromer Park.
Anthony Seminara’s squad have struggled for consistency at times this season, but last weekend they were at their ominous best, thrashing Dee Why 5-1.
“It was a complete performance, the boys were very good,” veteran left back Paul Nero said.
“We were deadly from out wide, John Stambolieff was great, he scored a hat-trick.
“Wakehurst will no doubt be tough, they are sitting comfortably in the top four and they wouldn’t have liked losing to us in round one.
“We are expecting them to come out with a point to prove, it should be a real arm wrestle.”
