MANLY Vale will look to continue their imposing start to 2019 when they host Mosman this Sunday at David Thomas Reserve.

The Tony Bruzzano and Roland Winter co-coached squad knocked Wakehurst out of the State Cup last weekend 2-0 after goals from Savannah Geddes and Sam Spackman, and now they have the Whales in their sights.

“I thought it was a very good team performance (last Sunday),” Winter said.

“We started well, taking our chances and then scrambled well in the second half to keep a clean sheet and ensure the win.

“Mosman will offer their own challenges, we just have to keep working hard, so far the results are following for us, which is great.”

Elsewhere, Wakehust take on Manly Allambie and Forest Killarney play Seaforth, with both fixtures on adjacent pitches at Melwood Oval from 3pm.

Beacon Hill are at home versus Brookvale.

After four rounds in the league, Beacon and Vale are the early yardstick, both on ten points.
