MANLY Vale have moved into the top four following an impressive team showing against old foes Brookvale on Sunday afternoon.

Jamie Schofield and Alison Hoy supplied the goals in the 2-0 triumph at David Thomas Reserve, with goalkeeper Lauren Scaramuzza finishing with yet another clean sheet.

Vale co-coach Roland Winter said it is all about building each week.

“I thought we played well, all the girls did their job,” he said.

“Brookie were also very good, we needed to work hard to secure the three points.

“We are starting to click now, which is great.”

Elsewhere, Ash Mathieson’s Seaforth shocked Beacon Hill 2-1 away from home to stay in the hunt for semi-final football.

Competition pacesetters Manly Allambie play Forest Killarney on Monday night, with Wakehurst taking on Avalon to complete round nine.
