DEE Why striker Matt Cooper is expecting a big response from his team ahead of Saturday’s tussle with Wakehurst at Lionel Watts.
The injury hit Swans were poor last start, outclassed 4-1 by Pittwater RSL FC.
It was in stark contrast to the Tigers, who impressed in a 4-2 triumph versus the previously unbeaten Brookvale at Graham Reserve.
“Wakehurst are decent, they are hard working and have excellent wide players,” Cooper said.
“Russ Bream in the middle is also quality.
“Pitts were energetic last week, they wanted it more than us, which was disappointing.
“We are currently outside the top four, sowe need a result this Saturday.”
Other games this round see Mosman take on Manly Vale (Cromer Park, Friday, 7.30pm), St Augustine’s tackle Brookvale, Pittwater RSL FC host Seaforth and league leaders CC Strikers do battle with Narrabeen.
