Record Numbers Attend This Years Relaunched ALDI MiniRoos Game Leader Workshops

Aldi MiniRoos

2018 saw a relaunch of the ALDI MiniRoos Game Leader Workshops run by the MWFA for our ALDI MiniRoos parents. The 90 minute workshop this year was run practically targeting ALDI MiniRoos parents who pick up the whistle and become Game Leaders on a Saturday & Sunday throughout the year. The Workshops brought the national playing rules and formats to life and gave the adults the opportunity to get the boots on and experience what it is like to play ALDI MiniRoos football at U6/U7 level and then U8 to U11 level.

Across the 5 workshops held across the Northern Beaches record numbers of 318 coaches attended and all attendees are now armed with a better understanding of ALDI MiniRoos Football. The final workshop held this week saw 123 parents head down to Cromer Park in preparation for the start of the season.

Community Coach Development Manager Chris Adams facilitated the workshops alongside Tony Davies the MWFAs Vice President ALDI MiniRoos. To have such large numbers attend these workshops is fantastic and I applaud of the attendees who came down to get a better understanding of the ALDI MiniRoos rules and formats, the reasoning behind the rules as well as their role as a game leader to ensure that all of the kids have a great experience and leave the pitch with a smile on their faces

The MWFA would like to thank Pittwater RSLFC, Avalon Soccer Club, Mosman FC and Seaforth FC for hosting a workshop in 2018.
