IF Avalon manage to contain Beacon Hill strikers Ayse Adalis and Jess Wootton this Sunday, they should win the women’s MWFA Premier League grand final.
Given the dynamic duo have scored a combined 68 goals in 2017, it is a daunting task.
Beacon Hill coach Vince Vescio doesn’t know what to expect ahead of the decider.
“The big pitch at Cromer will probably suit Avalon more, but we have a number of big game players,” he said.
“I’ve got a lot of time for (Avalon coach) Larry Bates, he studies the game back to front.
“He did a terrific job getting his team up and ready to beat Manly Vale in the semi-final last weekend.
“Our Reserve Grade squad are also in their grand final, so the double would be the perfect way to round out the season.”
Kick-off is 5pm.
