MPL – One sided affair

Wakehurst 664

WAKEHURST have revealed their x-factor ahead of the semi-finals, with teenager Daniel Kwawam firing home a hat-trick in Saturday’s emphatic 4-1 win against Seaforth.

The hosts had no answer to the Tigers striker in the final third, with his pace and enthusiasm the difference across the 90 minutes.

“I was happy for Danny, he belongs at this level,” Wakehurst coach Paul Juergens said when reflecting on the one sided affair at Seaforth Oval.

“It was our best performance of the season, everything clicked.”

Other games saw Brookvale outclass CC Strikers 4-0, Pittwater RSL FC thrashed Mosman 5-2, St Augustine’s beat Manly Vale 1-0 and Narrabeen impressed in a 1-1 draw versus Dee Why.
